Approximately 150 separate and unique tube-steel casework frames were field measured, fabricated, powder coated then installed at the new Mariposa Land Port of Entry in Nogales, AZ.  These frames accompanied stainless tops, wood casework, communication systems and other specialties.  Adhering the architects’ strict details, all frames throughout the facility are wall-mounted and required internal blocking to be installed prior to drywall.  Many of the frames were used in specialized areas and incorporated large sinks and unique disposal systems.

The Mariposa Land Port of Entry occupies approximately 216,000 square feet and the entire site encompasses 54 acres. This project is LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certified, utilizing energy-efficient technologies throughout. According to the U.S. General Services Administration website, the Mariposa Land Port of Entry is one of the United States’ busiest land ports, serving as the main entry point for fresh produce entering from Mexico.
